This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments.</em></p></div><h2>About the role</h2> <p>We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager with strong computer vision foundations and experience in reconstruction techniques who is looking to productionize cutting-edge research into our new neural simulation product. You will develop a first-of-its-class simulation product that will enable the next generation of data-driven autonomous vehicles. Your work will also position Applied Intuition as the most advanced vehicle intelligence supplier to the largest OEMs in the world.</p> <h2>At Applied Intuition, you will:</h2> <ul> <li>Build, manage and mentor a team of world-class machine learning and software engineers</li> <li>Develop a fast, scalable, and high fidelity neural simulator that will act as a playground to train and evaluate the next generation of data-driven autonomous vehicles</li> <li>Work closely with customers to define requirements and implement solutions for our neural simulation product</li> <li>Push the state of the art of multi-sensor 4D reconstruction, novel view synthesis and diffusion for dynamic scenes</li> </ul> <h2>We’re looking for someone who has:</h2> <ul> <li>A Bachelor's degree in computer science, robotics, or related fields from a top institution</li> <li>4+ years working in the machine learning field</li> <li>2+ years of people management experience</li> <li>Experience with modern neural simulation techniques e.g. Gaussian splatting, NeRFs, Dust3R, and Diffusion Programming experience in Python or C++</li> </ul> <h2>Nice to have:</h2> <ul> <li>Experience building software for technical end users</li> <li>Peer-reviewed research at machine learning conferences like NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ICLR, ICCV/ECCV, IROS, ICRA</li> <li>Experience using 4D reconstruction or diffusion in autonomous systems</li> <li>Experience evaluating and reducing domain gap between synthetic and real data</li> <li>Experience with classical reconstruction techniques e.g. VSLAM, SfM</li> <li>A Master’s degree or PhD in computer science, machine learning, robotics, or related fields</li> </ul> <p>Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits.
