Over 2,000 customers already use our point-and-click ingestion experience, and we're hiring a Senior Product Designer to take it further.</p> <p>You'll own the end-to-end design of how users discover, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot their ingestion pipelines, shaping experiences for both data engineers and business analysts. You'll partner with cross-functional teams in SF and Seattle to ensure a cohesive experience across the data engineering journey.</p> <p><strong>The impact you will have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design the front door to the Lakehouse. Your work will shape the first impressions and ongoing trust for thousands of organizations using Lakeflow Connect for enterprise data ingestion.</li> <li>Create experiences that serve both data engineers needing granular control and analysts wanting ready-to-use data</li> <li>Own the end-to-end ingestion experience across connector setup, credentials, scheduling, monitoring, error recovery, and schema evolution.</li> <li>Define AI-native data ingestion by integrating Databricks Assistant into pipeline creation and troubleshooting.</li> <li>Create scalable patterns for a diverse and growing range of connectors </li> </ul> <p><strong>What we look for</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of product design work experience</li> <li>A bachelor's or higher degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.</li> <li>A strong portfolio of past projects demonstrating a solid design process, from inception to production</li> <li>Experience working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, communicating effectively with both design and non-design stakeholders.</li> <li>Can execute beautiful visual and interaction work that’s rooted in a data-driven and well-researched UX process</li> <li>Experience designing enterprise software, services, or other complex systems (Products in the Big Data space are a nice-to-have)</li> <li>Experience with React, SQL, CSS, and/or Python is a nice-to-have</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p> </p> <p><strong>Pay Range Transparency</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400; font-size: 14px;">Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
