However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments.</em></p></div><h2>About the role</h2> <p>The Account Executive is the front-line seller and relationship owner on the Growth team, owning a portfolio of DoD accounts to convert relationships into revenue. You will focus on deal creation and shaping, working with customers to identify problems and frame solutions before formal solicitations exist.</p> <h2>At Applied Intuition, you will:</h2> <ul> <li>Own a portfolio of DoD accounts as the primary, persistent point of contact to keep Applied present and relevant</li> <li>Drive revenue by creating opportunities and building acquisition pathways such as OTAs, sole-source, or task orders</li> <li>Expand the account footprint by prospecting for new contacts, programs, and budget lines within adjacent program offices</li> <li>Lead customer-facing meetings, present capability briefs, and run demos alongside Solutions Architects</li> <li>Act as a sensor network for the Growth team, communicating structured intelligence regarding shifting priorities and new funding signals</li> <li>Maintain meticulous CRM hygiene in Salesforce to track relationship health and engagement frequency</li> </ul> <h2>We’re looking for someone who has:</h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Political Science, Engineering, or a related field</li> <li>2–4 years of experience in a customer-facing, revenue-generating role (e.g., tech sales, SaaS, consulting, or military)</li> <li>Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tools</li> <li>Experience with government market research tools such as SAM.gov or GovWin</li> <li>Expertise in consultative or solution-selling methodologies</li> <li>Strong organizational discipline for meeting notes, follow-up tracking, and account planning</li> <li>High-energy networking instincts with a proven ability to build rapport and influence customer thinking</li> </ul> <h2>Nice to have:</h2> <ul> <li>Prior experience specifically within defense business development or DoD acquisition</li> <li>Experience shaping the scope of technical deals rather than selling off a price sheet</li> <li>Deep familiarity with Industry Days, defense conferences, and the military networking circuit</li> </ul> <p id="p-rc_b9232bdd3e411237-22" data-path-to-node="17"></p> <p>Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off. Note that benefits are subject to change and may vary based on jurisdiction of employment.</p> <p>Applied Intuition pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials &amp; certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position.</p> <p>Please reference the job posting subtitle for where this position will be located. For pay transparency purposes, the base salary range for this full-time position in the location listed is: $85,000 USD to $150,000 USD annually.</p> <p><em>Applicants will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencing employment.
