Business Value Consultants play a critical role in translating the technical capabilities of Stripe products into a strategic value for a customer. We help drive meaningful business outcomes and accelerate decision-making through a consultative approach that aims to build investment confidence and elevate CxO conversations.</span></p> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What you’ll do</strong></span></h2> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Our Business Value Consulting team partners closely with our Go-to-market teams and Enterprise users to articulate the strategic value Stripe will provide for our user’s businesses. Value Consultants develop methodologies to measure the financial, strategic and operations benefits Stripe provides, and leverage those to develop value propositions, business cases, and ROI justifications for our users.</span></p> <h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Build compelling business case presentations and ROI (Return on Investment) analyses aimed at accelerating, justifying, and/or expanding sales opportunities</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Create ROI tools for sales and customers for joint business casing</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Craft high-impact, executive level narrative and presentations for CxOs while working cross functionally with our Sales and Presales teams</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Conduct and facilitate internal and external research around customer’s business, market/industry/functional trends, and business value analysis</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Build strong relationships with regional sales leaders to be a key driver on strategic account planning and engagements</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Create assets for internal teams to leverage to articulate and measure the value of Stripe and deliver high-level business value impact in a consistent way</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Contribute to the creation and management of library assets including value frameworks, and other sales and value capture assets to help scale the team's reach across the organization.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Provide thought leadership, training, and consultative partnering with internal sales and other teams throughout and beyond the sales cycle</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Who you are</strong></span></h2> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.</span></p> <h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Minimum requirements</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">10+ years of experience in management consulting, business value consulting, strategic finance, or similar roles</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Proven track record of building ROI models, business cases, and executive presentations</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong financial acumen with expertise in value metrics, cost-benefit analysis, and financial modeling</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior executives</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience working cross-functionally with sales, presales, product, and customer success teams</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Self-starter who can work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Preferred qualifications</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience in the technology, SaaS, or fintech industry</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Background in payments, financial services, or digital commerce</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">MBA or advanced degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Track record of developing scalable frameworks and methodologies</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Understanding of value selling methodologies and sales processes</span></li> </ul>
