The Director of End User Computing leads the global strategy, execution, and operational excellence of enterprise IT services across Service Desk, Asset Management, Platform Engineering, and Workplace Technology. This role is responsible for delivering a secure, scalable, and high-performing end-user environment that enables business productivity and supports executive and enterprise stakeholders.

As a senior IT leader, the Director establishes technical vision, operational standards, and service delivery frameworks across endpoint ecosystems, collaboration platforms, identity systems, and workplace technologies. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in enterprise endpoint and identity platforms, strong organizational leadership capability, and a proven ability to build high-performing teams while driving modernization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll do:
Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for End User Computing across four core pillars: Service Desk, Asset Management, Platform, and Workplace Technology.
Lead global Service Desk Operations, ensuring scalable support models, SLA performance, executive support standards, and high user satisfaction.
Oversee Asset Management, including vendor management and procurement, lifecycle governance, inventory accuracy, endpoint provisioning, distribution, refresh programs, and secure decommissioning.
Own enterprise endpoint and collaboration platforms, including Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and SharePoint, ensuring security, compliance, performance, and operational reliability.
Lead Endpoint Engineering functions, including imaging, patching, identity and access management (IAM), mobile device management (MDM), and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI).
Establish governance frameworks for endpoint security, compliance enforcement, patch management cadence, device configuration standards, and identity lifecycle controls.
Drive automation and modernization initiatives across provisioning, configuration management, and policy enforcement using tools such as Intune, JAMF, and scripting frameworks.
Oversee Workplace Technology services including videoconferencing systems, conference room technologies, and enterprise printing solutions to ensure reliable and seamless in-office experiences.
Develop and manage vendor relationships, contracts, and procurement strategies to optimize cost, performance, and service quality.
Build, mentor, and scale high-performing technical teams; establish performance metrics, operational KPIs, and continuous improvement frameworks.
Partner closely with Security, Infrastructure, Network, Facilities, Finance, and Executive stakeholders to align EUC capabilities with business objectives.
Manage departmental budget planning, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives.
Provide executive-level reporting on service health, risk posture, asset metrics, and modernization progress.
Required qualifications:
12+ years of experience in enterprise IT, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles overseeing End User Computing or equivalent functions.
Demonstrated experience leading large-scale Service Desk, Endpoint Engineering, and Asset Management organizations.
Deep expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure AD, identity and access management, and enterprise endpoint ecosystems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
Strong experience with MDM platforms (e.g., Intune, JAMF), patch management systems, and endpoint configuration management frameworks.
Experience managing vendor relationships, procurement processes, and hardware lifecycle programs.
Experience leading IAM governance, device compliance enforcement, and endpoint security best practices.
Operational experience with VDI environments and enterprise collaboration technologies.
Strong financial acumen, including budget ownership and cost optimization strategy.
Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated ability to partner with executives and cross-functional leadership.
Ability to participate in incident leadership and critical escalation management as required.
Owns executive stakeholder relationships, anticipating needs, shaping priorities, and ensuring services deliver measurable value aligned to enterprise goals
Preferred qualifications:
15+ years of progressive IT experience with at least 7 years leading multi-functional enterprise IT teams.
Experience scaling EUC operations in high-growth enterprise environments.
Strong background in automation, scripting (PowerShell or equivalent), and AI-driven service optimization.
Experience implementing ITIL-based service management frameworks and KPI-driven operational maturity models.
Experience supporting regulated or security-sensitive environments with strict compliance requirements.
