They should be able to concisely and accurately share knowledge with their teammates.</div><h2>About the Role</h2> As the Facilities Operations Lead at xAI Memphis, you will oversee the maintenance and performance of critical data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and environmental systems. You will lead a team of Facilities Operations Technicians, driving hands-on technical operations, team leadership, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our data center. font-size: 12pt;">Lead and mentor a team of Facilities Operations Technicians, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Oversee maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of data center infrastructure, including HVAC, power distribution, and backup systems.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Develop, implement, and optimize preventive maintenance schedules, equipment calibration, and system performance monitoring.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Create and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure operational consistency and efficiency.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to streamline equipment intake, installation, and maintenance processes.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Utilize internal applications for inventory and asset management, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Manage critical equipment maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely resolution and detailed documentation.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Partner with cross-functional teams to support seamless data center operations.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and minimize downtime.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Provide on-call support and respond promptly to critical facilities incidents.</li> </ul> <h2>Required Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field (relevant experience may substitute for degree).</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">8+ years of experience managing critical facilities systems, including power, cooling, and environmental controls.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">In-depth knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems in data centers.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">8+ years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining critical facilities infrastructure.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Proficiency with building management systems (BMS) and environmental monitoring tools.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">5+ years of experience in inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining facilities equipment.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Proven leadership experience in critical facilities or technical operations environments.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Demonstrated ability to lead facilities infrastructure projects.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strong prioritization and time management skills.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Must pass pre-employment and annual post-employment background checks.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Physical Requirements: <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
