We bring understanding and predictability to Stripe's bottom-line financials. We work cross-functionally across many surfaces at Stripe and help steward Stripe's resource investments to improve the durability of our long-term financial performance.</p> <h2>What you'll do</h2> <p>We're hiring a seasoned finance leader to run Central GTM Finance and Strategy on the GTM Finance and Strategy team. You will lead global planning, consolidation, metrics and analytics, and strategic initiatives that scale GTM finance operations. This role partners closely with Global Sales leadership to guide go-to-market strategy, improve forecasting accuracy, optimize investments, and accelerate enterprise growth as Stripe expands internationally.</p> <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Lead and develop a team of eight finance professionals supporting Global Sales — covering Solution Architecture, Customer Success, Renewals, and GTM Operations — and delivering insights across user-level performance, sales productivity, pipeline conversion, quota attainment, and strategic account planning</li> <li>Own global forecasting, planning, and budgeting for Sales, surfacing actionable insights that inform investment decisions and drive sales efficiency, and contribute to quarterly business reviews and long-range planning with scenario analysis, strategic recommendations, and models that align team strategy with GTM and company priorities</li> <li>Define and maintain key business metrics and KPIs to monitor health and proactively flag risks and opportunities, using data-driven analysis to diagnose performance and recommend actions that accelerate revenue growth, margins, and investment optimization</li> <li>Partner with Sales, Sales Operations and Strategy, and Marketing to evaluate ROI of GTM initiatives and customer acquisition strategies, and build dynamic financial and operating models to assess new sales motions, pricing changes, large enterprise deals, and regional expansion scenarios</li> <li>Design, scale, and implement reporting and dashboards that track funnel metrics and primary investment drivers, running complex SQL queries and performing hands-on analysis of raw data to validate models and uncover root causes</li> <li>Leverage AI and generative tools to speed analysis, automate repetitive tasks, surface insights, and drive process automation and data streamlining to improve reporting accuracy and decision velocity</li> <li>Translate complex financial and sales data into clear, concise narratives for executive audiences</li> </ul> <h2>Who you are</h2> <p>We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.</p> <h3>Minimum requirements</h3> <ul> <li>10+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, or GTM Finance supporting enterprise sales teams, with a minimum of 3 years of people management experience and a track record of leading high-performing finance teams</li> <li>Proven ability to analyze pipeline health, forecast revenue, and model user and sales dynamics in complex B2B settings, with strong financial modeling experience and familiarity with large, multi-variable planning tools</li> <li>Track record of partnering with senior GTM leaders, influencing decisions through financial insight, and distilling complex concepts into clear, actionable insights for executive audiences</li> <li>Proficiency in SQL to independently query and manipulate complex datasets, with analytical fluency at scale and comfort working directly with large, complex datasets to validate outputs, diagnose root causes, and drive conclusions in close partnership with Engineering, Data Science, and Analytics teams</li> <li>Ability to navigate ambiguous, evolving data environments, identifying non-obvious data pitfalls and building reliable analyses in settings where infrastructure and tooling are still maturing, while operating effectively in fast-paced environments and balancing strategy with tactical execution</li> </ul> <h3>Preferred qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Experience working at a high-growth technology or financial services company</li> <li>Anaplan, Tableau, or other equivalent application experience</li> <li>Advanced SQL skills</li> <li>Experience in data visualization and dashboarding</li> </ul> <p> </p>
