With Link, you can save your payment information to be used at hundreds of thousands businesses and you can connect & manage bank accounts.</p> <h3><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h3> <p>As the Product Manager for Merchant Experience within the Financial Connections team, you are the champion of our merchants’ experience. You’ll shape the roadmap that enables merchants to link and verify bank accounts, manage risk, build innovative products, and go live quickly across Stripe’s surfaces. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, design, data science, compliance, legal, GTM, and partner product teams, and directly with users ranging from self-serve developers to global platforms.</p> <p>You will:</p> <ul> <li>Define and deliver novel APIs and Dashboard experiences for open banking</li> <li>Setting an ambitious roadmap for product development and expansion</li> <li>Build novel tools to help businesses manage risk with Stripe</li> <li>Continually raise the bar for reliability, latency, privacy, and product quality</li> <li>Incubate new bets to scale our business and develop more value for users</li> </ul> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own the roadmap for Merchant Experience, prioritizing the most impactful work to ship what our users need in line with our business goals</li> <li>Partner continuously with engineering, design, legal, compliance, support, sales, and marketing to shape product plans and ensure we ship comprehensive and frictionless experiences</li> <li>Partner with GTM functions to bring your product to market and ensure we see adoption and growth</li> <li>Be the voice of the merchant for Financial Connections and advocate within your team and across Stripe for your users’ needs</li> <li>Discover net-new opportunities for our business and lead them from nascent stages to maturity</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Who you are</strong></h2> <p>We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.</p> <h3><strong>Minimum requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Brings 5-7+ years of experience in a product role (ideally working on API-focused products)</li> <li>Has an obsession with product quality, specifically an intuition for high-performing, ergonomic, and long-lasting API design</li> <li>Has strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems</li> <li>Can put themselves in the shoes of their users and craft great experiences</li> <li>Takes an ownership mindset and works on whatever it takes to solve problems and delight users</li> <li>Can dig deep into the data, think from first principles, and deliver the right results</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Preferred qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Experience working on financial products </li> <li>Conducting product market research and building buy-in for product ideas from internal stakeholders and leadership</li> <li>Experience building brand new products or working in a startup environment</li> <li>Experience working with GTM teams to bring a new product to market</li> </ul>
