This is a team where creativity meets high craft, and where designers grow by building for ambitious customers.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do</strong></p> <p>Brex is looking for a Senior Brand Designer to join the Design team, a cross-disciplinary group of creatives including product designers, brand designers, content design, operations, and marketing strategists. Our team’s mission is to build a category-defining brand and meaningfully move key business metrics by delivering world-class creative.</p> <p>Your role will be to contribute to direction and execute a variety of creative projects across marketing collateral, digital experiences, out-of-home, communications, environmental, and more. This is a collaborative role that will require you to work closely with marketing leaders, Web and Product teams, and the rest of the team to ship effective brand marketing projects and campaigns. You are a creative problem solver who can think big picture but also loves getting into the details to ensure final creative is fine-tuned and perfected down to the pixel.</p> <p><strong>Where you’ll work</strong><br><br>This role will be based in our San Francisco, Seattle, or New York office. We are a hybrid environment that combines the energy and connections of being in the office with the benefits and flexibility of working from home. We currently require three days per week in office - Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. As a perk, we also have up to four weeks per year of fully remote work!</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Elevate our brand presence across key surfaces including social media, integrated campaigns, out-of-home, growth experiments, and branded content.</li> <li>Support and refine the company’s visual identity system, ensuring consistency across all channels and applications.</li> <li>Design creative assets for campaigns, launches, social, web, presentations, and email.</li> <li>Partner with marketing and product teams to conceptualize and produce storytelling-driven visuals that communicate complex ideas clearly.</li> <li>Collaborate with copywriters, motion designers, and external vendors to deliver best-in-class creative work.</li> <li>Push creative boundaries while keeping work aligned with strategic business goals.</li> <li>Have strong design taste and clear judgment. Be able to show work, get decisions made, and turn ideas into business impact through excellent execution.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>6+ years of experience in brand design with agencies or in-house teams.</li> <li>Portfolio demonstrating concept-driven, high-quality design work across a range of mediums.</li> <li>Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable presenting work and rationale to stakeholders.</li> <li>High level of craft across typography, layout, motion, and visual hierarchy.</li> <li>Attention to detail, you sweat the small stuff to make every piece feel intentional and refined.</li> <li>A strategic mindset with an understanding of how design impacts business and brand perception.</li> <li>Proficient in Figma.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus points</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with AI visual creation tools (Nano Banana, Midjourney, etc.)</li> <li>Experience with prototyping and web building tools (Figma Make, Sanity, etc.)</li> <li>Experience with motion and animation tools (After Effects, Jitter, etc.)</li> <li>Experience working on both B2B and B2C brands</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compensation</strong></p> <p>The expected salary range for this role is $147,000- $187,000.&nbsp; However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity.
